Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions govern booking requests made on xsride.com and vehicle rentals provided by XS Ride in Morocco. For each rental, the rental agreement signed when the car is handed over sets out the vehicle, duration, price, deposit and any options. In the event of any discrepancy, the signed agreement prevails.

2. Booking
The form on the website lets you send a booking request. This request is not a confirmed booking: XS Ride will contact you to confirm the availability of the car, the final price, the deposit and the delivery arrangements. The booking is confirmed once XS Ride has confirmed it to you in writing (WhatsApp, email or SMS) and, where applicable, once any requested advance payment has been made.
The photos on the website show the model; the colour, trim or year of the car provided may differ slightly. If the car booked is not available, XS Ride will offer a vehicle of an equivalent or higher category, or a refund of the sums paid.
3. Driver
When the car is handed over, the driver must present a valid driving licence (an international driving permit if required) and a valid identity card or passport. The minimum age and number of years the licence must have been held depend on the vehicle and are given to you on confirmation. Only drivers named in the agreement are permitted to drive.
4. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are indicative daily rates in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), quoted as “from” prices. The final price depends on the dates, duration, delivery location and options; it is confirmed before the booking becomes final. One rental day is 24 hours from the time the car is handed over. Accepted payment methods are given to you on confirmation.
5. Deposit
A deposit is required when the car is handed over. Its amount depends on the vehicle and is given to you before the booking becomes final. It is returned at the end of the rental, after the car has been inspected, less any sums due (damage not covered, missing fuel, late return, fines, exceptional cleaning costs).
6. Handover and return of the car
The car is handed over and returned at the agreed place and time: the airport, our branch or the address of your choice in Casablanca, Rabat or Marrakech. A joint inspection report, with photos, is completed each time. The car is handed over clean and must be returned in the same condition and with the same fuel level. Any unannounced late return may be charged and, beyond a few hours, counted as an extra day.
7. Use of the car
The renter must use the car with due care and in compliance with the highway code. In particular, the following are prohibited: subletting, carrying passengers for payment, taking part in races or trials, driving off made-up roads, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and leaving Moroccan territory without XS Ride's written consent. Smoking in the car is not permitted.
8. Insurance, claims and fines
Vehicles are insured in accordance with Moroccan law. The cover, the excess payable by the renter and any excess reduction options are set out in the agreement. In the event of an accident, theft or breakdown, the renter must inform XS Ride without delay and, in the event of an accident, complete a joint accident report or call the authorities. Fines and penalties incurred during the rental are payable by the renter.
9. Cancellation and changes
You can change or cancel a booking by letting us know by WhatsApp, phone or email. The conditions for refunding any advance payment, depending on how long before the start date you cancel, are given to you when the booking is confirmed. If the car is returned early, unused days are not refunded unless agreed by XS Ride.
10. Liability
XS Ride cannot be held liable for items left in the car, or for delays caused by force majeure. In the event of a breakdown not attributable to the renter, XS Ride will replace the car or refund the unused days.
11. Personal data
The data collected for the booking and rental is processed as described in our privacy policy.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. In the event of a disagreement, we will first seek an amicable solution: write to us at contact@xsride.com. Failing that, the matter will be referred to the competent courts of [city of the registered office].
